Live recording bass playing along

I used OBS to record that video, the bass is plugged directly into the external soundcard without any pedal effects (I burnt them all), ext soundcard is linked in OBS with the ASIO plug-in. Don’t know how I got that fucking sound only acting on the TONE’S KNOB.

Tip

Note from 03/07/2026: While attending a seminar by Carlo Cattano in Licodia Eubea, I thought it would be a good idea to change the strings. So the video was recorded with strings that were more than 10 years old; this explains the magically muffled, sub-octave sound capable of replicating a Hammond organ.
